FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
No Question Is Too Small
WHICH OF YOUR CLASSES IS BEST SUITED FOR ME?
All of my classes are very gentle, and are suitable for all abilities.

If you have challenges around getting down to, or up from the floor - it might be good to start with chair yoga or a 1:1 session that can be tailored to your needs.

If you have specific concerns, I am always happy to discuss your needs with you prior to booking.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?
If you are coming to hatha yoga at The Pod or a 1:1 session in Wellingborough, you will need a yoga mat, blanket, and perhaps a drink of water. However, the Pod has spare mats if you want to borrow one for class.
You might like to bring a blanket and a drink for chair yoga.

Everything is available at the studio for hatha at The Breathe In Space - so just bring yourself!
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?
Whatever you feel comfortable in! Trousers, jogging bottoms, leggings or yoga pants with a T-Shirt and perhaps a jumper in cooler weather would be ideal.
I'M NOT FIT/FLEXIBLE! ARE YOUR CLASSES RIGHT FOR ME?
Absolutely! No assumed fitness level is required for the yoga classes I teach. Yoga can benefit everyone and will help you gain a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.

Furthermore, if you consider yourself 'not flexible', yoga is the perfect practice to improve that.
WHEN SHOULD I EAT BEFORE A CLASS?
When it comes to food and digestion, we are all different. In general I do not recommend eating a large meal within 2 hours of the start of class. If you must eat within 2 hours of a class then a light meal or snack that is easily digested is best. It's recommended to be hydrated before a class so drink some water.
ARE THERE TOILET FACILITIES ON SITE?
Yes!
WHERE DO I PARK?
On-street parking is available nearby at The Pod. The Breathe In Space and The Midwives Cicrle both have free car-parks.
