Theme of the week: Samhain
Classes Taught: 3
The week has been a dance between the mundane and the sacred - balancing half term activities with the children with the deep, introspective energy of Samhain. Yoga has continued to be my sanctuary, offering moments of refuge amidst the bustle of family life and seasonal transitions.
Challenges this week
The clock change, though just an hour's shift, has created its own kind of upheaval in my daily rhythms. It's a reminder of how sensitive our bodies are to these transitions, even as we try to adapt to society's artificial timekeeping. The challenge of maintaining equilibrium during these changes has been real, yet offers its own lessons in flexibility and patience.
Glimmers of the week
Receiving heartwarming feedback from the Ebb and Flow mini-retreats, affirming the impact of creating these sacred spaces
The start of cosy candlelit yoga at The Pod.
Launching the Ebb and Flow Yule mini-retreats
Focusing on my Soul Journey offerings to plan upcoming Yuletide festivities - weaving dreams and preparations for the winter season ahead
Finding joy in the embrace of earlier evenings, allowing the darkness to invite a natural turn inward
Spending a couple of hours with friends, remembering and honouring our loved ones together
Looking ahead
The coming week brings a full teaching schedule, which fills my heart with anticipation and purpose. I am taking inspiration from fireworks, we will be thinking about Agni - the inner fire. In some of the classes, we will have the option of lighting indoor sparklers!
You can book online for all classes.
